PYLONS set forth to offer up a new direction, moving quasi-chaotically onwards to satiate your desire for great music, magnificent concerts, an eternity of aural delight and potentially a feeling of satisfaction given that their music is so mesmerisingly addictive.

They were once a quadruple of escapees from the beauty of Lincolnshire, who made their way to the big smoke and found refuge in North West London. They were joined by a solo waif from the depths of Essex, who, lacking the cursory bronzed look and false eyelashes, decided to head in the same general direction. At this point the four became five and PYLONS were complete and ready to unleash their collective creative juices on an unsuspecting Worldwide audience.

Once they take to the stage, there’s no holding back, the energy fills the room, the audience are entranced from the first few notes. What is this? it’s like nothing else, the set moves through one genius song after another, Indie bangers, grungy riffs, close harmonies, trumpet solos and a song about a pirate, they have got the lot all sounding like anthems. The classic question: What do they sound like?, is redundant with these guys, there are a myriad of influences throughout their set, one minute your ears may hear a brief Beatles influence or Tame Impala or any number of influences but all entwined deep into some awesome songwriting. PYLONS really can’t be pigeon holed, mainly as there has never been a pigeon with a hole big enough.
