Keith Royston Jr. was born May 17, 1992 and raised in Los Angeles, CA. To a single parent home and as the oldest it was upon him to look after his other 4 siblings and figure out everyday life. With a hustler mentality he knew that he could accomplish any and everything that he set his mind to. And did so by staying grounded and focused amongst the animosity and chaos around. “I’ve been making my own money, since 11 and have been buying my own clothes since I don’t know.”- Roy. Having attended La Salle Elementary, Woodcrest Elementary, Henry Clay Middle School and also Washington Preparatory HS, how more LA could he be? Besides his upbringing, school was of upmost importance to him and continued by attending University of Texas at El Paso, Arizona State University and Charles Drew University as well. Without earning a degree, he decided to revamp and refocus on a passion that he’s been had since the age of 8, which is music. Starting back off in 2014 he released 2 mixtapes and took a 3 year pause and returned with his remix of Suga Free’s “I’d Rather,” in 2017. After another 3 year hiatus, in 2020 suffering gunshot wounds at the time. It was time to make a decision and the decision was made to go full throttle with this music and stay at it.
