Rubenson

Few art forms lend themselves as well to self-examination as music. In the case of singer-songwriter Rubenson, the music was there from an early age, but it took on an extra function and meaning after a dark period in his life.

With his first EP 'Heading Forward', reopening of the stages and single “I Choke”, Rubenson is ready to move people with his music. On headphones or in the living room, but preferably live, face to face at performances in intimate venues or at major festivals at home and abroad. With the sunlight on his face, a dozen songs in the bag and the necessary life lessons behind him, he is ready!

In his songs he enters into a direct relationship with the listener and allows them a look inside his head. That intimacy can be heard in every song by Rubenson and it goes straight to the heart. Whether he encourages himself to persevere (Heading Forward, to dare to dream again and to embrace life), to show courage and to look in the mirror (Keep on Riding, about the connection with your inner peace ) or dare to express your emotions and not hide under drugs (the very personal Is There Anything Else): they sound as if you are being sung to you personally by someone who wants the best for you. Music doesn't get more intimate. In short, music as therapy and the search for an ever better self.
