With strong support from Kitsuné Musique, BBC Introducing, PRS Foundation, Notion, Clash, DIY and more, Runrummer is an LGBTQ+ artist on the rise. Over the past few years she has opened the Introducing Stage at Radio 1’s Big Weekend, charted on iTunes Norway and reached #14 in the Music Week Club Chart. She has played festival stages across France, toured the UK and been featured on major Spotify playlists New Music Friday, New Pop UK, and Alt-Pop among others.
Officially tipped by BBC Introducing and Rolling Stone as “one to watch” along with two tracks signed under uber cool label Kitsuné Musique, Runrummer oozes a distinctive form of alt-pop which effortlessly blends indie and electro with waves of nostalgia. Most recently Runrummer was selected as a recipient of the coveted PRS Foundation ‘Women Make Music’ Award; providing funding and support for the release of her debut album ‘Elevator’ which dropped in October 2024. Described by Clash as "a superb alt-pop document" and Louder Than War as "a stunner", the album has also been touted by Jess Iszatt on BBC Radio 1 and Nathan Shepherd on BBC Radio 6 Music.
