Bristol born comedian Russell Howard's skills first came to light as a 19 year old on the Channel 4 television talent competition, So You Think You're Funny?, where he made a respectable showing, reaching the finals. From then on Howard was a busy performer and presenter, appearing on stages and television at a near constant pace for the next fifteen years. He was a regular panel member on Mock the Week, Out to Lunch, and the near-legendary satirical free-for-all, Never Mind the Buzzcocks. In November of 2006, Howard added to his long resume of radio presentation, landing his own show on BBC 6 on Sundays. A tour of his home country, entitled Wanderings, was a smash success, and led to a second tour in 2007. That tour, Adventures, was even more successful, and had to be extended due to high demand into 2008. His work also landed him a number of award nominations, including nods from the Barry Awards and if.comedy. ~ Chris True, Rovi
