Ryan Matthew Shinall (Ryan Matthews) is a producer and engineer based in the tri-state area. A musician since the age of five, he developed a passion for sound early on, diving into music production and engineering in high school before refining his craft at William Paterson University.
Since 2020, Ryan has worked across a wide range of genres, including hip-hop, R&B, indie, electronic, alternative, pop, rock, and jazz. Whether in the studio or behind the mixing board at live shows, he brings dynamic soundscapes to life. He engineers at studios and venues throughout the tri-state area, balancing studio sessions with live performances.
While in the studios working for local underground NJ/NY talent, he has also worked live events for notable figures including Ron Carter, Hillary Clinton, Anthony Fauci, Garry Kasparov, and WeTheBand. His passion for both recorded and live sound led him to the road, where he joined MisterWives as part of their live audio team on tour in November 2024.
With new projects and collaborations always in motion, Ryan continues to push creative boundaries, helping artists bring their vision to life while cementing his place in the music industry.
