Sabalih is a young all round artist, singer-songwriter-composer from Brussels, Belgium.

Sabalih‘s music is thus a reflection of his life course. That aspiration derives its
power from different worlds : some kind of New Wave music that blends with
modern urban rhythms in an atmosphere of Blues music.

In search of authenticity and a unique artistic touch, a culturally diverse
sound is effortlessly created. Sabalih calls his music : Nordic Pop with sex appeal.

Why "Sabalih"?

Originating from Bambara, a West-African dialect from Mali precisely, the word 'sabali' refers to ones abitity to adopt attributes such as patience, wisdom and poise at any given moment.

The choice of this stage name isn’t trivial at all and demonstrates the paradox of the artist.

Indeed, while having a naturally reserved character, he also is an impatient and demanding person,
sometimes living on the edge of his nerves.

Furthermore, he undoubtedly is one of those artists who only reveal themselves through their music.

He puts all of his energy into channeling himself so that the people could actually understand the message he tries to bring while making sure to adopt a calm and thoughtful attitude.

This is how Sabalih, after a long search for his individuality, learns how to develop patience and he applies his findings to perfectly fit the person he is today.

Sabalih is therefore more than a pseudonym : It is a therapy that helps him to becoming the person he wants to be.
