Growing up in Boston on the US East Coast with adoptive Irish-Italian parents, Sabrina learned to embrace the role of outsider and carry it into her songwriting: “Most people there want to be a doctor or a lawyer, so even wanting to be a singer was seen as quite weird. But once I embraced it and accepted ‘this is what I am’, good things started to happen.” As a teenager she appeared on MTV’s ‘Real World’, resulting in the reappearance of her birth-mother and a first meeting on live tv.
Sabrina moved to the UK followed a songwriting visit to London which produced her debut single ‘Hold Tight’, a tumultuous pop anthem about dealing with the trauma of her father’s death. The song found its way onto ‘Love Island’ and other tv shows. Her four-track EP ‘Wheel Of The Year’ saw her songwriting expanding into rock n roll, R&B and epic ballads. Kerrang! placed tracks in their Top 20 alongside Metallica and Royal Blood. Stereogum playlisted her alongside Arlo Parks. Wonderland magazine called the EP “pure unapologetic individuality, with a voice as strong as her message”.
Summer 2025 revealed the vinyl single ‘Witch of the West’, co-written and produced by Grammy-winning producer and Killing Joke bassist Youth. Sabrina showcased the vinyl at headline shows with her band in Newcastle and London, with instore performances at Manchester, Newcastle and London’s Rough Trade.
