On the single "Other Lovers" :
"They skillfully layer hauntingly beautiful instrumental and vocal lines with each phrase, developing their emotional labor over the full 4:45 minutes until they reach, as Mayssa sings, 'a necessary release.' " Pilar Fitzgerald, NPR, The Early-Bird Tiny Desk Contest Entries We Love, 2018
"The blend of Mayssa Jallad’s soaring vocals and on-the-button choices of melody lines alongside Elie Abdelnour’s subtle, understated guitar is balanced beautifully to create a warm, melancholy, intimate atmosphere that’s truly engaging." Adam Grundey, Triplew.me
"...elegant and tender songwriting executed with the less-is-more axiom." Beehype, Best of 2016
