SAFE is a multi-faceted artist whose versatility span. In 2015, his breakout single "<a href="spotify:track:1wT3Tp5tRhUuzJeUFIUiIS" data-name="Feel">Feel</a>" —featuring a sample from the iconic <a href="spotify:artist:47zz7sob9NUcODy0BTDvKx" data-name="Sade">Sade</a> —became a Toronto anthem and blew up on SoundCloud, drawing major label interest as well as gaining recognition fast. His follow-up single "<a href="spotify:track:3wdQOeQGraPOy2zhvSOikr" data-name="Eternity">Eternity</a>" led to a signing with Epic Records, SAFE would eventually sign with RCA releasing two albums with them.

In 2018, SAFE moved to the U.S., splitting time between L.A. and NYC to further his career. In 2019, he featured on <a href="spotify:artist:6LuN9FCkKOj5PcnpouEgny" data-name="Khalid">Khalid</a>'s <a href="spotify:album:6KT8x5oqZJl9CcnM66hddo" data-name="Free Spirit">Free Spirit</a> album, which went 2x Platinum, and released <a href="spotify:album:0to6F8xxZGgeFNMq7TEMpi" data-name="Paid In Full">Paid In Full</a> with <a href="spotify:artist:699OTQXzgjhIYAHMy9RyPD" data-name="Playboi Carti">Playboi Carti</a>, praised by Pitchfork for its melodic sound. His JUNO-nominated “All I Need” showcases his unique blend of eclectic sounds and storytelling.
