Saint Joan, formerly known as <a href="spotify:artist:0CuLrAwx4JaB6aU21TT8vT" data-name="Fontaine">Fontaine</a>, has been writing and recording music for the last two decades. Many of those years were spent in LA, bartending on Sunset, earning enough to record and self release her first album, “The Chemistry Between Us.” (2006)
In 2018, Fontaine returned to her hometown of Charleston, SC and teamed up with Matt Zutell of Coast Records and local band, <a href="spotify:artist:55tDIeQARv5lLJb71qLqzO" data-name="Human Resources">Human Resources</a> to record her first album as Saint Joan, “Ashes.” (2020)
After its release, she signed a sync/licensing deal with BMG, landing placements in the popular Netflix shows, “Love is Blind” and “Heartstopper” and indie film, “The Pod Generation.” Saint Joan is currently represented by Warner Chappell Music and is working on her next full album, “Weight of the World.” (2025)
