Originally launched as my side project in 2019, Salemtown became my main project by 2020 during the Covid-19 lockdown in Nashville. Named after the Salemtown neighborhood of Nashville, TN where I was quarantined, I began collaborating with different songwriters to create a fresh, country sound that stemmed from my library of instrumental demos, lyrical ideas and song titles. The result was fusing clever and authentic lyric-driven country songwriting with production that combines the trappings of the country sound with pop, hip-hop and dance music elements.
Salemtown’s debut single, Pretty Wild, was released in 2021. Since then, Salemtown songs have been featured on a number of Spotify editorial playlists including New Music Nashville, Heartland Country, PopCo, Fresh Finds, Fresh Finds Country, Next from Nashville, Wild County and New Boots, among others across streaming services.
In October 2022, Salemtown was voted “Best Band in Nashville” by the Nashville Scene Magazine readers poll.
I'm a dual citizen of the U.S. and Canada, so I plan on touring both extensively.
