Childhood friends, the group formed in Reading and alongside Stearnes, are; guitarists Dan Kingham and Joel Neale, bassist Rob Carter and drummer Benny Chandler.
In 2018 Saltwater Sun returned with heavyweight single ‘The Wire’, which topped the Hype Machine chart, earning BBC R1, Radio X and BBC 6 Music airtime. The next cut, ‘Hot Mess’ followed suit - reaching #1 on the Hype Machine chart with regular support on BBC R1.
