Since the release of their debut EP, New At Drugs, in 2020, jackie have amassed over 4 million streams on Spotify, with their top single 'Unpsun' making it into Top #10 on Alternative radio. jackie are clearly confident in both their song-writing and musical style. Musically, the band, consisting of front singer Jackie Mohr, Marc Girardin and Max Trefler, moves in nostalgic indie rock, which finds a balance between classic and modern. Drawing inspiration from artist like Courtney Barnett, The Pretenders, Fleetwood Mac and Alanis Morrisette. If you want to get to know jackie the band, you’ll likely want to start with Jackie Mohr. Stating out playing in bars at 16 Jackie and then-and-now bandmate Marc Girardin relocated to Toronto in 2012 to work with some of Canada’s most eccentric and exciting producers.
