Sam Barnes is a music-maker from coastal North Wales, UK. Writing and producing in tandem, his songs explore dream-like narratives and nuances of the human condition, while his soundtracks blur the lines between chamber minimalism, electronic music and abstract sound.
In addition to playing with <a href="spotify:artist:4S2f4BosAW2oF9AfGEK8ZL" data-name="Boy Azooga">Boy Azooga</a>, he’s previously released music under the umbrella of Shoebox Orchestra, and regularly collaborates on soundtracks for film, television, installation and theatre. He’s a long-running collaborator with music collective <a href="spotify:artist:0W9JxohYcYAODiwRZyqpmM" data-name="John Hardy Music">John Hardy Music</a>, and has joined them in composing soundtracks for television series ‘Hinterland / Y Gwyll’ and ‘Hidden / Craith’.
