Berlin-based <a href="spotify:artist:2VWist7GVm3knpJFTAj3o5" data-name="Anonymous Depressed Dogs Club">Anonymous Depressed Dogs Club</a> is a crossroads project between Tim Granbacka and Fritjof Brandt, both hailing from Ostrobothnia, Finland.
Reminiscent of a long forgotten forest lifestyle underneath the northern lights, the duo is refilling the void created by the lack of early 2010’s indie-pop, and Scandinavian aesthetics in the artists’ independent careers. The two friends moved to Berlin together in 2014. Fritjof Brandt (aka Axe Nylon) has mainly embarked upon the path of experimental jazz, but still found time to work with bands like Berlin based indie-rock group <a href="spotify:artist:2vI9z0IykY4dNai8Lmm2va" data-name="1000 Gram">1000 Gram</a> and Swedish singer/songwriter <a href="spotify:artist:2VUB65X1Ejr1VWUKRUyCoq" data-name="Emma Elisabeth">Emma Elisabeth</a>, whilst <a href="spotify:artist:2BPdJXZ815Invq4y2RDnFr" data-name="Tim Granbacka">Tim Granbacka</a> (aka Styleboi_92) became a busy Berlin music producer known to have worked with artists like <a href="spotify:artist:4f44GWlEQdXaWl8gQ9sPBC" data-name="WAYNE SNOW">WAYNE SNOW</a> (Roche Musique), <a href="spotify:artist:2inX1svE5swPuIBIJdrFyo" data-name="Noah Slee">Noah Slee</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:4jFc030lOLNBuF250a3bkp" data-name="Gimme Gimme">Gimme Gimme</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:7dA0IZAV5Wr4SjKCnI7Gx3" data-name="Mike Nasa">Mike Nasa</a>. Tim is also the co-founder of the Cassette Head Sessions, an underground events and video series which has featured singers like <a href="spotify:artist:1YBM8ESrjkE4hgpNUktUaK" data-name="Arletis">Arletis</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:7lS8dsCoC7M6QbNp3MRpmw" data-name="Jesper Munk">Jesper Munk</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:4sOcMLlr0hMwrLXScjAgoq" data-name="James Chatburn">James Chatburn</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:4Z6yPeF2Ytgp3tZATwf6Jw" data-name="Sedric Perry">Sedric Perry</a>.
The two artists have collaborated on numerous projects throughout the years, most notably in the band of Australian singer/songwriter <a href="spotify:artist:2i6SwWU5LfdDP4tOZTQiqn" data-name="Michael Brinkworth">Michael Brinkworth</a> and are now all set to release their debut EP 'Laika' via <a href="spotify:playlist:3yuP8BbZIAXAilQD9yfGnP" data-name="Havêa Records">Havêa Records</a>.
