Sam Davies (Barcelona, 2000) is a dual nationality artist with roots in Manchester and Barcelona, . His artistic roots lie in hip-hop music and dance, and he is one of the rich crop of musical talent emerging from Barcelona, alongside artists such as Rosalia, Bad Gyal, Morad and Leïti Sene.
He was trained as a dancer in dance companies Varium Kids and GetBak from an early age. Around 2015, he created the urban music duo samxsen along with his cousin Leïti Sene and other artists and producers. Thanks to samxsen he was able to position himself locally and nationally with a loyal following from around the globe and collaborations with artists such as Mishii and Enry-K from Dammed Squad, Apache, Blessed Boy and Senyor Oca.
After the successes his first solo mixtape "Funprint" in 2020, his collaboration with the Cutemobb collective also in 2020, and most recently, his single "Vuitres" released in May 2021, he is now ready to launch his second solo project. With this new project he wants to continue combining his passion for dance, music and fashion. He uses his international background to seamlessly fuse English, Spanish and Catalan lyrics within his music, whilst also developing his character and artistic potential in a more mature way.
