Born in Uppsala, Sweden, Bornlöf started to hone his craft at an early age. He was banging a drum set before he could talk and with musical talent running through the family, his older brother started giving him piano lessons at the age of eleven. After graduating from high school, he confined himself to the parameters of his home studio - located in the scenic central Swedish community of Dala-Järna - determined to master his craft. With unwavering devotion he kept at it, buying equipment, writing songs and producing local artists, gradually building the solid foundation on which his success lay. In 2012, he joined Epidemic Sound and his unique sense of melody and quality of tone runs like a common thread through all of his projects. Listening to his extensive body of work, one is struck by the ease with which he shifts between different styles. With several of his tracks breaking the 50 million stream mark on Spotify, Bornlöf is living proof that hard work pays off.
