Sam Shaw is a musician from Nottingham, UK. After collaborating with Boshe on "You'd Be Mine", he released debut album Hypnosis, described as a "future classic" by local radio show Nusic. His new psychedelic rock band Sam Shaw & The Real Eyes recently released their new single Mirrorball to critical acclaim, with Dean Jackson & BBC Introducing choosing it to be played on BBC radio. They now look forward to headlining The Grove in Nottingham on Saturday 8th March!
"Their electric live performances and captivating music make Sam Shaw & The Real Eyes a band to watch. They made waves with their performance at Rough Trade Nottingham on September 7th 2024. Recorded live to tape with Kristian Bell of The Wytches, Walk Into The Sun is the perfect introduction to the band's vibrant, otherworldly sound." - NottsRocks, September 2024
"Following a run of excellent singles throughout 2024, Sam Shaw & The Real Eyes have just dropped their first release of 2025 in the form of the wonderful Mirrorball – out today. No surprise it’s another barnstormer, a track as shimmering as the title would suggest, with a great bluesy riff that struts along amidst cooing vocal harmonies and an instantly catchy chorus. It all culminates in a dazzling 60-second guitar solo, which is as soaring and as it is jaw-droppingly impressive. It continues the band’s winning run of singles, and we just know it’s going to melt a few faces at their live show at The Grove, next Saturday 8th March!" - Karl Blakesley
