At the age of twelve, Sami discovered the power of storytelling through songwriting. Having been influenced by her favorite band ABBA and strong female artists such as Taylor Swift, Sara Bareilles, and Norah Jones from a young age, Sami’s musical storytelling recounts narratives of romance and echoes tones of wistful sentiments. Sami’s instrumental experience with cello, piano, and acoustic guitar plays an integral role in her unique style, which incorporates a blend of different genres such as pop, folk, jazz, and country. Sami is a recent graduate of Berklee College of Music. During her time in Boston, Massachusetts, she studied Film Scoring, Composition, and Conducting. In her free time, she enjoys nature photography and hiking.
