Sandra North, the Swedish country/rock artist, started her early musical years singing in church choirs and school ensembles. It was clear at a very young age that singing, dancing and performing was all she wanted to do. Upon her move to Los Angeles in 2015 she started pursuing her musical career as a singer/songwriter.
Her debut single "Try Again" was released on sept 6th 2019. The country/pop ballad made its way to number 1 on Radio P4 Sörmland the very first week. It got an enormous amount of support and stayed charted in the Top 5 for 15 weeks straight. The highly anticipated second single, "Same Story 'Bout a Broken Heart" was released on Feb 7th 2020. The upbeat country/rock tune showcased a lot of power and attitude and a portrayed a new side to her artistry. Her 3rd single "You" was released in July 2020 and gave her another placement on the charts in Sweden as well as a nomination for Top 10 Best New Country Songs of 2020.
Throughout the pandemic the artist kept working closely with producer/songwriter Juan Abella to complete her debut EP, “Long Time Coming”, which finally saw the light of day on August 27th 2021. The hit songwriting duo was also behind her country/rock follow up single “Gone” in 2022, which resulted in a nomination for "Song of the Year". With her latest project she is collaborating with fellow Swedish country artist Jimmy Marcus as they set to release the sweet summer love song called “Shore Thing”. The duet will be available August 25th 2023.
