Santiago Kodela

Santiago Kodela is a multi-award-winning classical guitarist and composer whose music explores the edges of rhythm, harmony, and form. His work spans solo, chamber, and choral music, often delving into iso-rhythms, metric modulation, and intricate harmonic textures.

A committed performer and creator, Kodela is the co-founder of <a href="spotify:artist:2W1E6g0jUx5teg3SlTSKJX" data-name="Éire Guitar Duo">Éire Guitar Duo</a>, a project devoted to expanding the guitar duo repertoire. The group has released works such as <a href="spotify:album:7r5tMJV2BaJ7X5gdsotqky" data-name="A Dance Between Lights and Shadows">A Dance Between Lights and Shadows</a>, <a href="spotify:track:0761yl1m7XzngiHloKahYF" data-name="Equus">Equus</a> and <a href="spotify:album:4kGRcJVgAFTc8KuNzolVHY" data-name="Icc Guitar Works">Icc Guitar Works</a>, with performances across Ireland including sold-out concerts in Dublin and a feature at the Ards International Guitar Festival.

Santiago is pursuing a Doctorate in Music (DMus) in composition at TU Dublin under Dr.<a href="spotify:artist:1GJXAqFoWHp6i4eBAZzmNb" data-name="Marco Ramelli">Marco Ramelli</a>. His current projects include Argentine folk arrangements, original chamber works, and international residencies. His recordings are released on Navona Records and supported by the Arts Council of Ireland.
