A Mexican singer and actress, Sasha Sokol was born in Mexico City on June 17, 1970. She began her musical career as a member of the popular teen pop group <a href="spotify:artist:1FbygZnWsyUjzjTGLhWVlO">Timbiriche</a>, but she left that group in 1986 to pursue acting. The call of music was strong, however, and Sasha was lured into a solo singing career a year later, and made her solo debut, Sasha. Over the next 20 years, Sokol would release more hit albums, as well as a sizable number of singles, compilations, and even a handful of DVDs. In 2010, she released album number seven, Tiempo Amarillo. 2010 would also see her put her solo career on hold, as she joined the reunion tour of her former group, <a href="spotify:artist:1FbygZnWsyUjzjTGLhWVlO">Timbiriche</a>. ~ Chris True, Rovi
