Saskya

Saskya Belizaire is a Haitian American recording artist based in New York. Saskya was born in Haiti and raised in Broward County, Florida. With the influence of social media, Saskya used her viral music covers, comedy skits, dance routines, and fun personality to capture the attention of her community and to build her fan base. In 2016 Saskya released her first official EP “DEBUT”, which allowed her to tour throughout the United States and Canada. After the tour, Saskya spent most of her time writing and perfecting her craft. The following year, she released her single, Chimen Lanmou, which received a lot of recognition in the Haitian community. Upon the release of Chimen Lanmou, Saskya held an online challenge and received over 500 videos from her fans. The single has been played on some of the top radio and TV stations in Haiti and Europe, and has been played by some of the top international DJs. Following the success of “Chimen Lanmou”, Saskya was offered the opportunity to grace the cover of an international magazine which was distributed globally. During that time, not having management or any form of guidance to help towards her next step, Saskya took a break to better strategize her next move. Her year of Hiatus from music left fans wondering regarding her safety and whereabouts. After one year, Saskya has returned stronger than ever, she has shown tremendous growth, vocally and lyrically. It is obvious that she used that time off to work on her artistry.
