Traditional Venezuelan music performer Saúl Vera started his career in the 1980s, forming his own band called Saúl Vera y Su Ensamble in 1986, making the group's debut in 1989 with the release of Música y Tradiciones, 75 Años de Música Popular Venezolana, followed by 1994's Saúl Vera y Su Ensamble and 1995's Bandola de Reyes. In 1997 the talented mandolin and bandola player successfully toured Europe. In addition Saúl Vera published a book called Metodo Para El Aprendisaje De La Bandola Llanera, which focused on methods to learn how to play the bandola. ~ Drago Bonacich, Rovi
