Starting out as an acoustic cover band ‘Brownout’, this young quartet from Irosin, Sorsogon wondered how they would sound on a loud fuzzy guitar and blasting drums. Transitioning from acoustic to a full band setup, they got underway discovering their potential in creating their own music and getting out of their shell from covering songs. Their sound may akin to alternative rock today but the band does not choose to stick to a specific genre and limit their creativity and curiosity in music. Long-time friends Xavier (vocalist/guitarist), Luigi (drummer), Eli (guitarist) and Kenneth (bassist) re-established a new perspective and goal being today’s everyone’s favorite boys, Save the Youth.
