Venezuelan-American Singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer Sayge offers a moody take on Pop & R&B with guitar solos & gospel arrangements, often switching lyrics between English and Spanish. He began playing bass at a young age in church, picked up piano, guitar & drums along the way and soon began experimenting with producing with a neighborhood friend. From Junior High to High School he formed bands & organized shows. In 2016, he was accepted into the Red Bull Music Academy in Montreal. From there, using his skills in jazz, blues & a heavy obsession with Slash & Prince, he honed his craft & shaped a sound that he called his own. He formed his team soon after & began creating, designing & shooting videos with his friends under the crew name Santos. He released his first single, 'Toxic', at the beginning of 2020 & built a ‘cult’ like fanbase around it.
Since then he has worked with Sony Music and developed music for the 2022 Hallmark Christmas Special “Undercover Holiday,” working with Noemi Gonzalez and the Hallmark team. He also created the first Latin-oriented pack for Kingsway Music, and is also working on collaborations with Cubeatz. In addition, there have been other collaborations with other artists, and Sayge DJs at various spots on a regular basis.
