The LOFT is an alternative project based in Miami, FL from Chilean artist Cristian Gomez.
With a catalogue that dates back to 2014; In the early days,
Gomez and producer Jose Machin found a home in the R&B niche of alternative music,
their first releases were ethereal, ambient, sensual and highly emotional.
The beats were slow, the stories were sad, and it was great.
Machin's production complemented Gomez effortlessly,
the duo would create five beautiful projects together.
In the INFATUATION era, Machin is gone, and Gomez now produces and writes everything.
We hear what he wants us to hear, feel everything he feels; we can hear in the music traces of everything he likes, it feels genuine, and interesting. It really feels like he's coming through on his own.
The Rocci assisted Lonely Boy was a breath of fresh air, Glass Walls was monumental, Decline was wildly produced, and showed zero artistic restrictions. While "Sorry" merged The LOFT's past and his future. The title track cements something we suspected, more is finally coming.
It's now time to be optimistic, that Cristian; the master of artistic hiatuses, is here to stay and he's poised to show everyone all the new things he's learned.
