Saylor Brasseaux

Saylor Brasseaux is a 19 year old singer/songwriter and guitarist from Carencro, LA.  She currently lives in Tennessee majoring in songwriting/recording industry. Saylor began singing at a very young age.  Her musical experiences have included singing performances throughout South Louisiana at various festivals, restaurants, and community events.  She has also competed and placed in Regional, State, and National singing competitions in Louisiana, Missouri, and New York.   When Saylor was 12 years old she picked up the acoustic guitar taking daily lessons from her Dad.  It was there that the music just started pouring out of her. During her middle school years, Saylor was voted as academic student of the year by her peers and most talented. Now in high school this singer-songwriter who plays both piano and guitar is releasing her first EP titled Runaway.  Saylor explained “Runaway represents Youth, but I don’t Mean an age.  I mean living young at heart by taking risks casting your worries aside, and enjoying the gift of life to its fullest.  The five songs on the EP fall under the modern pop genre with a “vintage approach.”  Saylor revealed, “Each song on my EP is truly different, but what they mostly have in common is an old-time vibe with a modern twist.”  Saylor has released two music videos “Lonely Boy” and “Runaway” both are originals from the Runaway EP.  To keep up with Saylor, follow her on Instagram, facebook, and check out her music video on youtube..
