Following their hiatus, Saytr Play returned in 2023 with <a href="spotify:album:0HKrO3TnUHumUtl1hfeyfP" data-name="The Butterfly Stitches EP">The Butterfly Stitches EP</a> , amassing over 500,000 streams on Spotify (With the lead single <a href="spotify:track:1OzILONaG8Y8TnWdZsuI5I" data-name="Butterfly Stitches">Butterfly Stitches</a> featuring on <a href="spotify:playlist:37i9dQZF1DX4W3aJJYCDfV" data-name="New Music Friday UK">New Music Friday UK</a>, <a href="spotify:playlist:37i9dQZF1DWWjGdmeTyeJ6" data-name="Fresh Finds">Fresh Finds</a> and <a href="spotify:playlist:37i9dQZF1DX7AqyNZFu97s" data-name="Fresh Finds UK & IE">Fresh Finds UK & IE</a>) gained BBC Introducing support, playlisting on XS Manchester and national radio coverage on BBC Radio 1 and Radio X. Off the back of this success, Saytr Play finished the year performing to over 1000 people at Manchester's Iconic Academy 2.

Having taken a break in 2025 to travel and reflect, Saytr Play return this year with a body of work that leans into their indie roots, making the type of songs that made them fall in love with music. Blending melodic Strokes inspired guitars with anthemic choruses.
