Scene Noir

Since 2011, Montreal-bred outfit Scene Noir has been exploring the most visceral and introspective corners of ‘80s-inspired post-punk, dream pop, and cold wave. Known for their immersive sonic textures and emotionally charged songwriting, the quartet has become a mainstay in the modern darkwave landscape.

Following the success of their 2021 full-length album Telegraph, the Violent Summer EP, and the dreamy single The Color Of Desire, Scene Noir returns in 2025 with a new release: a full-length album titled “Supernatural”, arriving June 27.

The new album, “Supernatural”, was produced by idreamidream (Andrew Velvet) and recorded by the band between November 2024 and April 2025 in Montreal. Building upon the band’s signature dark romanticism, “Supernatural” pushes genre boundaries with the addition of shoegaze swells, techno rhythms, and trip-hop atmospheres. The result is a richly layered six-track journey through themes of excess, lost love, and the unexplained.

Fans of Curve, Underworld, and Massive Attack will find plenty to revel in—“Supernatural” is Scene Noir at their most multidimensional and sonically daring.
