Schundmären is a Black Metal duo from Hessia, Germany. Entering the scene in early 2023 with their first Demo, they started out playing Raw Black Metal with a signature synth-influence, while also including audio play segments. Lyrical themes are often militant, brutal and allude to esoteric conspiracy theories, which the duo distances themselves from and ironize as a form of critique.
Now, Schundmären are taking a step in a new direction, leaving behind their previous style and offering true Neuschwabenland Schwarzmetall, Triumphant Melodic Black Metal with a plethora of influences from other subgenres of metal as well as the occasional ballad.
