Sean Thomas Gerard

American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Sean Thomas Gerard was born in Pittsburgh, PA, and currently resides in Wilmington, NC. Sean fronted Onward, Soldiers and released two albums with the band on Winoca Records and an EP independently. 2011's LP "Ghosts in this Town" - 2012's LP "Monsters" and 2016’s EP “Daydreamer”.

Sean was featured on the show One Tree Hill, has played various music festivals around the country including CMJ, SXSW, 35 Denton and Hopscotch, had his song "Let The Time Roll By" on the compilation CD "Gasoline Rainbows" by Vagrant Records and was featured on Nashville's Music City Roots. He also can be seen on PBS's Sun Sessions, filmed at Sun Studio in Memphis. Sean played keys and guitar in the psychedelic rock'n'roll band Deep Ecology, played keys with folk artist Justin Lacy and currently plays keys with indie rockers Tracy Shedd and Summer Set and the soft rock group Feather. He’s produced records for folk artists Chris Frisina, Kyle Lindley and rock band The Umphs.

Sean’s first solo endeavor, titled “Great Unknown” was released in August 2015. His debut LP as a solo artist, “While We’re In The Blue” was released March 3, 2017. His follow up LP “Finally Found a Paradise” was released March 30, 2021 on Fort Lowell Records. Sean is currently producing new music, release date TBD.
