Combining a psychedelic, '90s style of techno with a modern dancefloor eclecticism that's identifiably post-2010, Secret Circuit is an electronica project from Eddie Ruscha, son of L.A.-based artist Edward Ruscha. Eddie was a founding member of the indie rock bands Medicine and Maids of Gravity and spent time in the experimental bands Radar Brothers and Future Pigeon. In 1996 he introduced his Secret Circuit alias with the experimental Cosmic Sword #1, a self-released album with many more following. The 2000 album Untitled introduced his decidedly less secret alias Dada Munchamonkey, but after 15 or so underground releases, Secret Circuit became the front-facing project with the Tropical Psychedelics album landing on the Emotional Response label in 2012. Tactile Galactics followed in 2013 on Tim Sweeney's label Beats in Space. ~ David Jeffries, Rovi
