Secret Society AKA The Canadianz have been producing and successfully marketing their music to fans for over a decade. The three main members are, Doug Crawford from Kelowna, Kane (Kyle Novak) from Toronto and Maskerade (Toma Johnson) from Los Angeles.
Secret Society released three albums that have collectively sold over 34,000 copies and garnered a VideoFACT grant for their single “Lakeshore Craze” that resulted in the music video receiving regular rotation on MuchMusic’s RapCity program.
In 2013 Secret Society's 4th album, Up to No Good charted upon its release in July as one of Canada 5 tops selling albums of the summer.
The group focuses on bringing the REAL-life, down-to-earth feel of their music back to the industry.
Secret Society is certainly out there having been around: North America, Europe, South America, Australia, New Zealand are just another day on the grind.
Opening for numerous internationally recognized names such as Tech N9ne Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, Ludacris, The Game, Common, Mobb Deep, Lloyd Banks, Swollen Members, D12, Ja Rule, Onyx, Young Jeezy and many more has allowed Secret Society to establish a hardcore fan base.
No stranger to radio airwaves either, Secret Society's reach only widens via extensive international press attention and radio play. Secret Society music has gotten regular rotation on commercial broadcasters across the country.
