Formed in 2018, Sektion Tyrants emerged as a dynamic duo exploring the realms of electronic post-punk. Hailing from Vancouver, BC, Canada, their sonic palette pays homage to the revered UK bands of the late 70's and early 80s. Their music delves deep into themes of melancholy and introspection, crafting lyrics that navigate the landscapes of love, loss, and existential musings.
Sharing stages with acclaimed acts such as The Chameleons, The March Violets, Pink Turns Blue, Xeno & Oaklander, Nuovo Testamento, Riki, Ritual Veil, Nyx Division, Leathers, and many others, Sektion Tyrants has solidified its presence as a significant entity within the contemporary alternative music scene.
Their debut album, titled "Love & Suffer," is available on vinyl and all digital platforms through Verboden Records/Take Away The Love Records.
