Selina and the Howlin Dogs

Selina and the Howlin Dogs are an award-winning 4-piece band based in Reading, UK with female lead vocals coupled with a classic power-trio playing upbeat blues fused with rock, funk with a modern feel giving their music a contemporary sound.

The debut album called “Blues Revisited” marries something old, something new with something blues. It represents the band’s re-ignited love for blues during the lockdown, fused with influences from rock, funk and even some urban flavour, giving it a contemporary feel whilst keeping it real and full of passion as you’d expect from the blues.

The “Live at The Harlington” album won the Live Album of the Year 2022 by Docs Blues Awards on SevernFM which is a great honour and the result of being aired across 20+ blues radio stations/shows in the UK, Netherlands, Belgium and also the US.

Both the studio and live album hit the IBBA top 40 album playlist 2022 resulting in opening for Geno Washington and the Ram Jam band, Dr Feelgood and Emma Wilson Band.
