Selton is an Italian-Brazilian band based in Milan, Italy. The band formed in Barcelona in 2005, where a group of high school friends from Porto Alegre, Brazil, came together and decided to play Beatles songs at Park Güell. After one year of busking, they were discovered by an Italian MTV producer, and the band moved to Italy, releasing their first album, which received 4 stars from Rolling Stone.

Selton blends indie pop with the rhythms of their homeland, Brazil, in a uniquely tasteful way. Their albums are all highly collaborative and have featured artists such as the American artist Arto Lindsay, the Brazilian rapper Emicida, the Brazilian legend Ney Matogrosso, and the Italian singer-songwriter Marco Castello, among many others.

This collaborative approach makes them one of the most interesting bands in the Italian music scene. The band won the APCA award for best Brazilian Rock band in 2013 and has been touring Italy and Brazil for the last ten years. They have been invited to perform on prestigious stages, including the Sziget Festival, Unite with Tomorrowland, Jova Beach Party, Koala Festival in Brazil, and have supported artists like Jungle, Devendra Banhart, Alt-J, and many others.

Recently, the band went to London to record their new album at Damon Albarn's studio "13." They teamed up with the producer Ricky Damian (a Grammy winner with Bruno Mars) to create "GRINGO Vol.1," released with Universal Music Italy.
