Senna-Marie is a Johannesburg-based songwriter and interdisciplinary artist drawn to the necessary frictions that shape intimacy. Rooted in the emotional resonance of her lyricism, her sound recalls ‘70s alt-folk with experimental art-pop and jazz influences.
She writes and performs in close collaboration with her close friend and producer Ryan Schultze; together they have released Fence Sitter (debut EP, 2021) and Golden (single, 2023), and are currently in-studio with their full band completing their upcoming full-length album (release date early 2026). In their fullest, they are a six-piece band including Nicholas Bjorkman (drums), Keegan Latham (bass), Athi Ngcaba (trombone), Pamela King (vocals) alongside Danny Helsing (Audio Engineer and bassist)
