“forceful and rousing” – Steve Lamacq, BBC 6Music
“a mesh of powerful and pretty” – Louder Than War
senses are four best friends from Coventry, bonded by mixtapes and the belief that music could change lives. What started as a schoolyard dream evolved into a genre-blending band unafraid to cross borders—both musically and geographically. Now based in London, Coventry, and Hamburg, they create bold, immersive soundscapes through voice notes, Logic Pro sessions, and bursts of studio time.
HYEHABH? A 10” single remixed by Andy Bell (Ride/Oasis) reached no. 7 in the physical charts, and all the heavens hit no. 36 on the UK Official Albums Chart. It’s a widescreen leap into soulful, shoegaze-tinged dream pop—“a rich and alluring texture throughout… filled with an adventurous spirit” (Mystic Sons).
Described by Louder Than War as “a swaggering and shamanic collection of musically sharp but emotionally dextrous indie rock,” the record moves from the political pulse of “manchurian” to the aching intimacy of “remedy.” Plastic Mag said: “it feels deeply personal while maintaining a cinematic quality, evoking a strong sense of place and emotion.”
Recorded with Gavin Monaghan (Editors, The Twang) and mastered by Graeme Lynch (The Coral, Blossoms).
At its core, senses is about connection: to each other, to the listener, and to the creative spark that still burns. As B-Side Guys put it: “all the heavens doesn’t just ask to be listened to—it demands to be felt.”
