SENSO expresses relatable emotions enveloped in the grandiose arm movements of stadium rock and the liberating hooks of pop. SENSO has developed into a real band - or "Copenhagen's new underground supergroup", as they were named by Danish Media Soundvenue - which, in addition to Jens Konrad, consists of Albert Aagaard Hertz (Josiah Konder, Mussi), Mads Uldum (Lød) and Sofie Westh (Deadpan).
On the debut album, "The Void In Us" (April 2022), SENSO presents a total picture of the void that arises when all meaning falls apart, and maybe reappears as something else.The album is shrouded in catchy vocal melodies, big weeping string arrangements and atmospheric guitars that flow together in both touching piano ballads as well as energetic rock songs.
SENSO's ability to pick from different genre traditions, musical periods and characteristic aesthetic ornaments, in songwriting as well as production, makes the band's expression a chameleon-like serving.
