Croydon based singer/songwriter Serenity Plays has found her voice in 2020. Coupled with dulcet tones and soothing melodies 2020 sees the fusion of 2 crafts come together. Serenity Plays first taste of the music industry was writing for the Sugababes on their debut album 'One Touch' track entitled 'One Foot In'.
Following a busy year of performing along side Afro-beat artist Silvastone at events such as Croydon Pride, Boomtown Festival and Global 12 Festival, Serenity Plays emerged herself into songwriting and production .
2020 sees the release of 'We Are One' an emotive response to the recent death of George Floyd and the upheaval of our daily lives in Lockdown.
We Are One carries a message that will appeal to all hearts and its not for the likes but for the Love.
Serenity Plays unique style emanates her love for live music, Indie, Soul, R&B and Gospel. Music and Song is the only way Serenity Plays would choose to convey her emotions, she would say 'I'm doing it my way'.
