Serialist is a post-hardcore project centered in the greater Sacramento area. With their first single having been released in September 2021 to a warm reception by the community, Serialist released their debut EP "(observed)" in October 2022. In early 2023, the band released their second single, Wolves, along with their first music video.
The jazz training of drummer Paul Stamas and bassist Matthew Wilson provides a smooth contrast to the heavier riffs supplied by guitarist Jonas Lee. With the addition of lead guitarist Jay Sells in 2023, the band's sound has rounded out to a precise, emotive flurry. Serialist is currently in the process of writing and recording a full-length album, with a release date yet unknown.
