“A band who deserves your attention with every move they make.” – Rolling Stone Australia

Colourblind aren’t just a band — they're a force that pulls you right into the front row.

Formed in 2017, Colourblind began in a spare room of a seaside suburb of Adelaide, Australia. With Finn (vocals) just 17, and Bernie (bass, vocals), Ben (drums), and James (guitar) all in their early 20s, they channelled their shared love for bands like <a href="spotify:artist:2CnhqfjUG0qzsru0SMuhrk" data-name="Title Fight">Title Fight</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:4DUQBYAyOTZotSEdKhaf6c" data-name="Basement">Basement</a>, and <a href="spotify:artist:2fgl3me4n9diODTrVfruF3" data-name="Balance And Composure">Balance And Composure</a> into music that mirrored their own coming-of-age experiences at the time.

The band&#39;s 2018 debut EP, ‘Move Like You’ secured them rapid recognition from critics and a passionate fan base across Australia and the US, and is currently sitting at 5 million Spotify streams. Capturing the raw angst and exuberance of youth, the EP resonated so profoundly with fans that their voices often drowned out the band at sold-out shows. They soon found themselves sharing stages with legendary acts including <a href="spotify:artist:16QCJENzcdhwka9bTKYMVB" data-name="Touché Amoré">Touché Amoré</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:6PsktPFR0UZptKdSqmlS5h" data-name="Mom Jeans.">Mom Jeans.</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:7ptm7G8z8VVvwBnDq8fAmD" data-name="Microwave">Microwave</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:04qi4CymYf3E50Mt2na4QS" data-name="Grinspoon">Grinspoon</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:2TuGrkN9bcjWU1GcrUarYn" data-name="Clowns">Clowns</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:54f24706ua34STMhWSzPV7" data-name="Bad//Dreems">Bad//Dreems</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:6kjbCSFaHOo2deId1wSaeL" data-name="Bugs">Bugs</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:0srVTNI2U8J7vytCTprEk4" data-name="These New South Whales">These New South Whales</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:1Lg2j8CzYY32r5sDiuVW8B" data-name="Bad Neighbour">Bad Neighbour</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:7zcfwEODRWt0H3XIneO9ZK" data-name="TOWNS">TOWNS</a>. Their 2022 EP ‘Semaphore’ was also released to critical acclaim with an accompanying Australian tour with <a href="spotify:artist:2jlQZbgsNsgcYu7Mq2w9wL" data-name="Ethanol Blend">Ethanol Blend</a>.

Their self-titled debut album, out on June 28 through Clarity Records, marks a pivotal evolution in their sound and story. It reflects their growth from hopeful twenty-somethings to a formidable presence in the Australian music scene.
