Seth 78 has been making music for a long-ass time, having played hundreds of shows and co-created a vast collection of alternative music with multiple bands over the last 18 years - but it wasn’t until early 2025 at the age of 36 that ya boi realized it was finally time to pivot and prioritize his individual music career.
ADHD infused beats, layered guitar work, and aggressive bass lay the foundation for Seth 78’s emerging sound, a new-age concoction of funk rock, alt pop, and r&b soul wrapped up in the expressively-catchy vocals of an emo kid from Utah who eventually learned how to sing.
Lyrically, Seth’s approach is an ode to his own dualistic nature, juxtaposing philosophically rich subject matter with an inherently casual delivery, allowing him an authentic avenue to explore wild-ass spiritual ideas and impassioned activism in the unserious ways that come most naturally to him.
