Seven Sisters, born in the depths of West London, are a band that encapsulates melodic, twin-guitar-driven heavy metal. Taking the essence of the '80s and infusing it with progressive song structures and an effortless command of dynamics, their take on metal is both familiar and unequivocally their own.
With three albums, a string of singles and EPs, and tours across the UK, Europe, and North America since forming in 2014, Seven Sisters have evolved from the humble beginnings of NWOBHM worship to developing their own distinctive style. Combining elements of power metal, neo-classical, prog rock, and classic British metal, each album promises to be a journey.
2021 saw the release of Shadow of a Fallen Star Pt. 1, the group's second album on Dissonance Productions. It has been by far their most successful release to date, garnering excellent reviews and taking them through two continent-spanning European tours as well as a three-week tour of North America. On 28th March 2025, they are set to return with the second half of their album-spanning epic sci-fi concept.
Shadow of a Fallen Star Pt. 2 further confirms that they are a group intent on not just playing throwback classic heavy metal; they are finding ways to bring fresh perspectives to a much-loved niche of the genre while laying out musical avenues for them to explore for years to come.
