Several Dudes started playing good time boogie music for the masses in 1987 when most of the Dudes were in law and medical school at Emory University in Atlanta., Georgia. The band has reformed to release new music written as a tribute to founding member Nick Stevens, who was tragically hit and killed by a car while cycling October 12, 2018. The first album, Our Brother Nick, is filled with songs written or inspired by Nick. Writing and recording these tunes has helped us keep Nick's spirit alive and still spreading joy to all. The band plans to donate proceeds of the music to charity, including the League of American Bicyclists, who advocates for cycling safety.
