Sewa is a Nigerian-Canadian songwriter, worship leader and one of three lead singers of Christian music group Campus Rush Music. Like many of the artists she credits as having significant influence on her career she began her music career in the church, having started leading worship at the age of 13. It wasn’t long before Sewa realized that her service as a worship leader was a divine call to lead souls to experience intimacy with God. She went on to become the worship pastor at Camps Rush, Ottawa.
Sewa developed a passion for songwriting in 2015, and has since written and ministered songs like "Ruler of Heaven", Above your Name" and “Yahweh”, that have impacted many across the globe. Her versatility is evident in the way she explores and implements various musical elements and genres in her music. She approaches every song with a distinctive style that allows her to create music that stretches the boundaries of Christian Contemporary Music.
