Sifundo Austin Ndimande, known professionally as Sfundo, is an eminent South African vocalist, songwriter, composer, actor, and producer from Hammarsdale, KwaZulu-Natal. His illustrious career ignited in 2012 with a triumphant win at the Gateway To Fame competition, a milestone that unveiled his prodigious talent. That same year, Sfundo showcased his versatility through a captivating performance in the acclaimed musical play YPP, alongside rising star Sishii, renowned for Gomora, affirming his prowess in the performing arts.
In May 2021, Sfundo secured an exclusive recording deal with Universal Music, heralding the release of his debut single, Izindlu Zodaka. This vibrant track, a masterful fusion of South African hip hop and Afro pop, captivated audiences with its infectious rhythms and lyrical depth, marking his ascent in the music industry. Sfundo’s vocal brilliance and production acumen shine in collaborations with Afrohouse luminary Dlala Thukzin.
