Sgt. Remo is a Mexican-American reggae artist blending Jamaican roots with Texas borderland consciousness. Born in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico, and based in San Antonio, TX, he delivers a powerful and authentic reggae sound rooted in unity, resistance, and cultural connection.

Inspired by reggae’s revolutionary spirit, he began performing in the early 2000s and made his international debut with Life Is for Living (2012), released on his independent label. He gained wider recognition with Give Thanks for Life (2014), which featured the underground favorite “Rastafari Way” and earned placement on AIRM’s Top 30 Reggae Albums (NY) and Reggae Moods’ Top 15 Roots & Culture Albums of the Year (Denmark).

His album catalog includes Sgt. Remo & Friends (2016), Here We Come Again (2019), and Jah Neva Leave (2022), a vinyl project featuring Ranking Joe, Lutan Fyah, and Chezidek.

In 2025, Sgt. Remo released the 10-track album Reach the Top plus 14 new singles, collaborating with Gappy Ranks, General Smiley, Junior Dread, Skillinjah, and Fidel Nadal. The Reach the Top (Official Remix) featuring Fidel Nadal was released on Popart Discos with an official video filmed in Buenos Aires.

He tours across the U.S., Mexico, and Latin America and runs King Remo Music, home of the Reggae SoulJahs Worldwide compilation series, with Vol. 6 singles beginning in January 2026.
